Who runs Ashburn Kitchen Remodel?▸
Kitchen Kings, the kitchen remodeling division of Kenney Construction, a locally owned general contractor based in Herndon, VA. It is the same company as the Kitchen Kings website, not a referral service.
Who actually does the work?▸
Kitchen Kings is a division of Kenney Construction. The same licensed, insured and bonded company (VA DPOR #2705187519) handles the work, not a subcontracted third party.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Ashburn?▸
Kitchen Kings' published Northern Virginia reference ranges are $18,000–$35,000 (basic), $35,000–$60,000 (mid-range) and $60,000–$120,000+ (high-end). They are a starting point, not a quote.
Do you provide written estimates?▸
Yes. Every project gets a written scope so you know what is included before work starts.
Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?▸
If the existing boxes are square, solid and in a layout you want to keep, refacing (new doors, drawer fronts and matching veneer) costs less than replacement. If the boxes are damaged or the layout is changing, replacement makes more sense. We evaluate on-site first.
Do you offer cabinet painting?▸
Cabinet painting is not a listed Kitchen Kings service. We offer cabinet refacing and replacement, and our guide compares all three options.
Do I need to move out during a kitchen remodel?▸
It depends on scope. A full remodel typically leaves the kitchen unusable for part of the project, while targeted updates such as countertops or refacing usually do not. We walk through what to expect before work starts.
Who issues kitchen remodel permits in Ashburn?▸
Ashburn is unincorporated, so permits go through Loudoun County's Department of Building and Development. The written scope says who handles permits for your project.
Does my HOA need to approve a kitchen remodel?▸
Ashburn associations' published architectural review processes focus on exterior changes, but a kitchen project can touch the exterior (a new vent or window) or common areas (dumpster placement, parking). Check your own association's rules before you start.
Have you done kitchen remodels in Ashburn?▸
We serve Ashburn, and a Kitchen Kings customer in Ashburn has left a published review. We have not photographed an Ashburn kitchen project yet; the photos on this site are from Herndon and Reston and are labeled that way.
What countertop brands do you use?▸
Kitchen Kings uses MSI for quartz, and installs granite and other surfaces as well. For faucets, we install Kohler, Delta and Moen.
